Living Stones
June 2, 2024Living in the supernatural
June 2, 2024At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit kicked things off with a bang by celebrating diversity. Before this, the gospel was pretty much owned by Jewish culture. If you wanted to follow Christ, you had to become part of that culture first. But at Pentecost, everything changed. The Holy Spirit decided to shake things up by breaking this old rule.
Suddenly, believers from all walks of life heard the good news in their own languages. This showed everyone that Christ’s message isn’t just for one group or culture—it’s for everyone, everywhere.
This means no denomination is better than any other. None of them have the monopoly on God’s glory or power. None of them are the gatekeepers of Christ’s Holiness. Thinking one denomination is better than another isn’t what Christ is about.
The Holy Spirit loves bringing people together in all their different flavors while still keeping us united in his Ekklesia.
